Never Go Back

This poem is about leaving an abusive relationship and to never return back to that dark place.

I could never go back to nothing

go back to that thing called love

your words tore me apart

made me the worst enemy my own enemy

I turned my soul to dust

I can't lie you water me make me grow

to tear me down

you neglected my character of a woman

is this what you wanted?

my pain became Your guilty pleasure

had me by the noose pull till I couldn't breathe till my eyes water to a painful red

your bad for me no good for me

I could never go back

back to nothing back to this thing called love

heartbreak
