Never Ending

A Poem

The dusk sky is as grey as a Timber wolves gentle coat I can smell the clouds as they hold the rain inside as I keep on walking I get this knot in my throat the rain starts to pour but the cold droplets is what I abide not caring as each drop thumps against my smooth skin I keep on walking down this railroad of never ending will my thoughts let me lose or let me win they are tricking me ever so condescending the rain finally halts but the railroad keeps going on my feet burn from the pain of walking I walk as if I'm a recently birthed fawn in the distance beside the tracks I hear some talking I soon realize that reality is just an illusion this railroad this sky never was real looking at all the white I came to this conclusion brown belts on my wrists, white coats but shoes of teal jolts running through my mind through my thoughts body bending back breaking this is the story that is never ending
