// Take me back to the times when words were just air, swept away by carrying winds. Take me back to when you didn't worry about lighting, angles or battery life. Take me to when we didn't stare hopelessly into our screens wanting to be someone else so, desperately.
Take me back to when I didn't cry myself to sleep every night for a month over some guy that didn't like my body. Take me back to when we weren't slowly suffocating in gases spouting from the cars we drive.
Take me to when we valued things, like plants and animals, instead of shooting them dead for sport. Take me to when people actually gave a shit about something. Take me back to when I didn't see my insecurities. Take me back to when you weren't ridiculed for something you can't change. Take me back to when girls didn't feel the need to alter their bodies, when the words "you're pretty" were said—and meant.
Take me back to when I saw the world through the eyes of a child, not knowing the horrific scene behind all the lies. Take me there. This magical place that never existed.
