My Open Window

Random Thoughts...

I wake up to birds chirping from my open window...

My eyes lock onto a brick wall next door that is a part of a building that is foreign to me......

I stretch and yawn, then I listen intently to the birds chirping from my open window...

I lie in bed and my eyes lock once more on that brick wall that long ago became a place that I abhor...

I lie completely still and my mind wanders randomly as I stare out of my open window....

I wonder what meaning my life holds

How will I die?

Will I die alone?

Will I be missed?

Where will I be 5 years from now?

Should I work some overtime this week?

I should really reach out to my loved ones more...

Maybe I should visit that place behind that brick wall and pray to that man in the sky and find some peace?

I jolt back to reality and pull my eyes away from my open window...

I stretch once more...

I then search for my phone...

And lose myself in endless ramblings on social media to those who have had my open window moments too
