My Monster

Part 1

My Monster has many faces and layers of expressions.

Faces and expressions that It has built and learn to master over the years.

Faces and expressions that It managed so well—and disguised them so well that they became my own faces and expressions.

My Monster came in and settled-in—It got so comfortable that, sometimes I forget that It's even there.

I mean I know It's there but sometimes I forget.

I mean how can you forget a Monster ? You may ask.

How can you forget a Monster with long, sharp claws similar to Wolverine?

Especially when that Monster enjoys digging It's claws into your lower back

Each set of claws on each side.

How can you forget that? You may ask.

Well let me tell you.

You forget when those claws has been inserted so many times that they become part of your body.

You forget when those claws has penetrated your lower back so many times that you orgasm every time.

You forget because you embrace the pains, the screams and the tears.

You forget because every time you tried to fight It—It fought back harder and knocked you down.

And if that wasn't enough It uses your upper left arm has It's scoreboard to show the world how great the Monster is.Cuz the Monster never loses.

I mean how can I forget.

The truth is I never did.

You don't forget your Monster.

The luxury of forgetting your Monster does not apply to you

Because you are obligated to remember.

Obligated to remember your Monster because It's your Monster.

Instead, I am clinging onto my Monster because when my Monster came in, It needed space so It absorbs me.

And now when I look in the mirror, all I see is my Monster.
