My Heart

A Poem

I can offer nothing but my heartAnd its strive for love. Yes, my heart, My poor heartThe heart that has been beaten The heart that is bruisedThe heart that is trying. The heart that has been broken and put back together, only to break again One would say, the heart that has been put through hell. But it still beats. I offer you this heart, with much sadness and disappointment I only wish that it will be enough I wish you will accept this pitiful gift, For I have nothing but this heartAnd my love for you
