My First Kiss

A Painfully True Story

I was sixteen and in love.

He was seventeen and thought I was sent from above.

He invited me over to his house.

I said yes, quiet as a mouse.

I knocked on the door and was very nervous.

He was dressed to the nines like at a church service.

He smiled and invited me in.

I felt my stomach begin to tailspin.

I took a step forward through the doorway.

He whistled and his Great Dane came to play.

He jumped up and knocked me on the ground.

I opened my mouth and let out a yelp of a sound.

I closed my eyes as the dog stood over me.

He leaned over and let his tongue fly free.

He licked both inside and around my mouth.

I can’t fucking believe a dog was my first kiss this is fucking bullshit.
