My Epiphany

A Poem

My Epiphany

I, I have been the betrayer.

I, I have been betrayed.

I, I have been the sinner.

From the depths of the darkness I have made.

Made my move every day towards what is right…

Nurturing hope led to truth now I see as I head to the light…

All that you own will be left behind.

All will blow in dusts of time but your Soul inside.

At the mercy of Karma some will be on their knees.

As I look my maker in the eye and say…

I have learnt… I believe.

I, I have been the victim.

I, I have been the accused.

I, I have found a glory…

That only comes from when you lose.

Inside I am soaring,

With the wind beneath my wings.

Hear the beauty of my song,

As my Soul sweetly sings.

For I no longer wander alone,

Just a lost vagabond chancer.

I dance through my day…

Leaving the questions, living the answer.

All that you own will be left behind.

All will blow in dusts of time but your Soul inside.

At the mercy of Karma some will be on their knees.

As I look my maker in the eye and say…

I have learnt… I believe.
