My Destination

I'm tired of settling for good enough and being lowered to potential.

I want more in life besides the struggle and strife, but that struggle makes me humble.

Sometimes I find myself about to stumble and fall, but my pride won't let me.

I stand tall, ready and willing to fight this battle, I know most would admit defeat but that's not my cup of tea.

I keep telling myself every day your destination is going to lead you to your blessing.

I smile even when I want to frown because I refuse to keep stressing.

Truth is I know I'm being tested and it's up to me to prevail, cause I know there are some people who are expecting me to fail.

You can doubt me or wish me well, but I refuse to allow my destination, my next stop to be on a pathway to hell.

My destination is only going to lead me to my blessings!
