History

My black is intriguing

But underestimated and unappreciated

My black is beautiful

But frowned upon and unusual

My black is lovely

But neglected and beaten bloody

My black is proud

But muffled and shuffled by our own government

My black is God

But suppressed and oppressed

My black is sun kissed melanin

But is shamed and rearranged

My black is knowledge

But unaccredited and unrespected

My black is peace

But subjected to war and slavery

My black is pure

But is abominated and segregated

My black is strength

But shown as impotent and delicate

My black is power

But victimized and compromised

Our black is elevated, emancipated, joint together in formation

Feet planted taking back our nation
