My African Masterpiece
Áréwà (Beautiful One)
My pillar of sugar
With the imperial physique
My pot of honey
Your pull so sticky
My gentle whisper of a breeze
Sexy caress on my skin
Sprinkle of fresh water
Cooling me sweetly
Áréwà mi atata (My dear beautiful lady)
Bá mí ló ìlé (Come home with me)
Ádùn rabata ló mán fun mi (You give me immense happiness)
Nnkan idunu ló jé si mi (You're an object of joy to me)
Beauty transcending language
Body defying verbal description
Hips straight from a divine mould
Waist an aesthetic treasure
Intellect a trove of invaluable treasures
Flawless divine creation,
African queen,
Magnificient magnolia
Wa je ka se ookan (Come let us be one)
Ólòrì ni iyawo tò tó fun obá (Only a queen is a wife fit for a king)
Ólòrì temi lo je (You are my own queen)
Dream woman
Object of my greatest fantasies
You cracked my hard heart
Now your love is seeping in
And even though I haven't met you
I can feel your presence already
You're my ideal lover
You're my African masterpiece
About the Creator
Olawale Lawal
Words give me life and there's no other form of perfection that comes close to painting exact and vivid pictures with words.
That's what I try to do each and every time I pen down poetry.
