Much More Tangible Than Mine
A Lost Love

When I think of what we had, I close my eyes and grasp the bad
Try to destroy the pain I caused you and illuminate the gains we went through
I swung at you trying to bring down your heart, much more tangible than mine
For mine feels like it’s left, if it were ever here
I can still feel it’s in pain
I swung at you trying to bring down your mind, much more tangible than mine
For mine has expanded, contorted and distorted but you see so clear
You rip me apart and bring me to tears
Calculated yet insane, you put love on the brain
The days I couldn’t hear your voice and didn’t make that choice
I lashed out, smashed out the last remaining Love
But for me I could never unlove
But now you feel you’re above
