Mr Hyde

A poem

This was never gonna work,

Knew it from the start

Knew heartbreak was over the horizon.

Both of us chose the dark side

By doing this

Now we just collide, we're sworn enemies

This should never have happened

Why do we do it to ourselves?

You'll never win

I swear I promise!

You thought I was normal

Then you met my Mr hyde.

Oh, you want to hide now?

Where were you all this time?

Oh, wait you were never here.

Now I'm going to make your worst fears

Come true for all the wrong

That you put me through

You thought I was a gem

Until you left my side, left my side.

What we had is in the past

It's the last thing on my mind

Every time I pick up another broken piece

Of shattered memory from that time

I find that a piece of me is also broken.

Didn't realize how bad we were together

Until we were apart

And saw through all the lies you preached.

I thought for awhile

My sadness from what happened

I had done to myself.

I had to realise that it wasn't me

That was the problem it was you.

Don't blame it on everything under the sun

When you caused this mess, asshole

Or you'll never see the day of light again
