Mother

You gave us life.

Mother did you not know that you could never love us. You gave us life then you walked away.

Mother did you even stop to glance, did you dare look at our crying faces. We loved you as we grew inside you. We loved you as you walked away.

Mother did you not love us just a little bit. Mother did you care that you destroyed us when you denied that we existed. Mother how do you feel now knowing that you missed the joy, the love and the time we could have shared. We were your gifts, your blessings and you just forgot that we were there. Do you even care that we lost one? Do you Mother, do you care that we might lose another? WE lost a brother, yea you were no mother.

I forgave you long ago. Even now I still love you. I detached myself from the others because when you walked away we were different. Our lives as we knew it was no longer in existence. I cried at night but you never came. I prayed to die but I overcame. Look at us we will never be the same.

I am the third, I am strong, I am proud, and I am love. I am love that wraps around my children as they grow. I am love that guides them to be good people. I am love that baths my children with hope, the hope you never gave yours. I am loved I will live in their hearts forever.
