Mornings

A Poem

Morning rises without much sleep,

The bags under my eyes run so deep,

Coffee is yelling and calling my name,

It does its job with very little fame,

I scratch my beard trying to awake,

I smell fresh muffins in the oven ready to bake,

I sit and plan out my fun filled day,

Never any long amounts of time to play,

Work, errands, the kids in school,

I wish for those days when I could just dive in a pool,

Well, this was my morning rant and hello,

Remember to be kind to your neighboring fellow,

This rhyme is all about to end,

Enjoy your Thursday, and all the things you intend,

From me to you, with all my heart,

Get up, stretch and begin your day with a great start,

Hug someone that you hold dear,

Doesn't matter if it is here or over there,

Love your day before its gone,

Even if it's just laying down on your lawn.

With this little bit I bid you Adieu,

Have a fantastic day from me and you.
