Monsters

All Around Me

When is a monster not a monster?

Monsters don't hide under your bed anymore

They live inside your head

And all around you

I can't stand it

Sometimes you can't even tell friends apart

Or humans in general

They wear masks now

Very realistic ones

It frightens me to my core

Why won't they just let me be

Will I forever be tormented

Forever condemned to be disturbed

Why won't the sickness ever go away

I'm trying so hard to make it go away

The the monsters are trying to take me with them

I don't want want to go away

The meds aren't working anymore

Doctor

Doctor please help me

Make them go away forever please

I can't take it anymore

There Are Monsters Everywhere

As far as I can see.
