I can’t wait till the moment all of this becomes memories.
All these little moments.
Memories in time. Memories and all our minds.
I can’t wait till we can laugh. Laugh at these memories we’ve almost forgotten. Memories that we will always have even when our teeth have become rotten.
Memories where you can say, “Oh remember when...” or “ How about that time...”
Memories that become the stories of our youth. Memories that may not always be the truth. But memories they’ll always be.
I really can’t wait till all of these moments become memories.
Memories I never want to forget.
Memories that will always be kept close to my heart and mind because in every memory it’s you who’s with me every time.
I can’t wait to these moments become memories but until then let’s have moments aplenty because there’s always room for another memory.

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.
