Mom

I'm all alone.

Mom here I am by the phone

Why is it now I feel all alone

Every rose I pass I picture your face

Then a single tear slides down my face

I drove so far to bring you home

but that doesn't change the fact I'm alone

My dad isn't here to help me out

I guess it's clear what he's about

Spreading your ashes here and there

I guess I need to feel you everywhere

Even with that simple act

it still won't bring you back

Without you who gives me advice

How can I make every move precise

Without you here I'm on my own

Which shows that I'm all alone

All I want is to make you proud

I want you to be around

But you're gone and my life is thrown

I can't change the fact I'm all alone

About the Creator

Krysta Bell

I've just recently lost my mother and my father doesn't talk to me so i needed an outlet that allowed me to express my emotions and thoughts. I hope I can inspire people to stay strong, and people can inspire me to keep writing.
