Mmmmm
I gobbled some speakers and now in surround my voice does glisten,
Then I swallowed a pair of headphones so I could listen
A knife down the hatch, now I'll always look sharp
And I scarfed a couple of angels so that I could play the harp
And now I just wish there was more to consume
I could eat every dog’s bone, every witch's broom
All the ice in the north so I could always be cool
Or chomp on Bernie Sanders and get some free school
But the world is not enough for people like me
Wannabe renaissance men of the 21st century
Every secrets discovered, we're too late
So what's left to do here but work, comply, masturbate
Our elders brought forth a beautiful world then mistreat it
But when that world is handed to me I just wanna eat it
(A generation so young, the academics have yet to staple them with an agreed upon label.
Generation Z, Generation 9/11, the iGeneration.
We may not know what we're called, but we also aren't sure about pretty much anything.
Stay tuned for an epiphany marathon on a global scale.)
