Love Is a Dream

As I lay on my bed

The thought of you

Dwells on in my mind

I feel you in my arms

In memory, you are there

But, physically, you never were

Tears stream down my face

As I finally fall asleep

Alone in this BIG world

Yet, finding you is a chore

The pain is as real

As a knife stabbing your heart

Families here and there

Surrounded everywhere I go

A mere a dream I once had

That has greatly faded within years

Dreams are now fantasies

Love is nothing but an after thought

A dream that will never come true

But to live a life of loneliness
