Millennial Love

A Tragic Cycle

What a world to live in where love is nonexistent it's all just a lie, when people say "I love you" it's just a pick up line

They think it's all fine to play with your heart then ask you why you always have to start when you pick them apart, you're tired of the lies and the games and you just don't feel the same way

You'll go your separate ways and the pain starts to fade, but your heart still aches from being played and it slowly starts to drive you insane

You never leave your bed drowning in the thoughts in your head all you ever do is wish to be dead

Swallowing pills to fill your thrills taking shots so you can't talk, breaking down more bud cause that's all you seem to love

Your body goes numb, everything hits all at once you can't feel a thing it's just so heavenly peace and love flowing through your blood stream you can't help but think "is this all just a dream?"

Don't want to wake up just wanna get fucked up, fuck some shit up, fuck a bitch up, get her feelings all mixed up

You say you love her but that's just the drugs talking you wake up the next morning get dressed and start walking

Back home, back to bed, the voicing coming back making you wish you were dead.
