Milky Skies

On clear night skies we see the Way.

Milky skies and Milky Way

Stars that shape our ancient past

The moon advises when to harvest

And comets that come and go

Every eighty years or so

Meteor showers that rock the world

And holes the eat up all that come

The sun that brightly shines

The galaxy and the far beyond

Planets that were once of nine

Are now of eight and one's a dwarf

That revolves around the sun

The only star we see at day

On clear night skies we see the Way

Rippling through the constellations

That shape the man and women of lore and tale

That we once heard about of long ago

And the beasts sent for all eternity
