Mess of Love

Losing Love

I loved you once, I love you still.

My heart beats understanding that what was

Yesterday was so today could be

Opportunity

Is.

Though yesterday was full of voids and holes

left me looking for answers without proper questions

and questions that you were not ready to answer

I was in a space that had no bright side

we were in two different places

My heart was in

ready to leap

ready to move

ready to cut out dead weight and pick up new responsibility

You were not with me

You were not

You were

You

Ready to pick up what you wanted

doing what you desired

Feeling though you had done enough caring not whether I had grown overworked and tired

Lacking acceptance of my growth and development, nor for what I had aspired

We were full to love each other

We were fools to each other

Fowl

I became tired, then frightened, then done

You became cold

Distant

Uncaring

Over when we were over

I loved you once, I love you still
