Mercy

A Love Poem

Help me up from this free fall

The game shifts before my eyes

Biology crashing into religion

Love fragmenting reality

A silent tyranny shutting my mouth

Left to battle the gargoyles inside

And the bald mount that holds Chernabog

Dissecting the deepest throbbing in my heart

Groping for this beauty, this perfect romance,

But only catching ghosts and shadows

Release me from the blinding squall

Free me from the thorny pit

Kiss me into another realm

Away from the snatching claws

Embrace me into a starry dream

Abandoning the haze and thick clouds

Run with me away from the world

Show me your crystal mercy in the light

Cast out the frozen dark with your passion

Point me to true north before I spin out of control

Love me out of this madness

Adore me into bliss

Show me your crystal mercy in the light...
