Memory
"It won't fade with a drink, it can only hurt more."

Lips to the bottle
One more drink
While leaning over the sink
Giving me time to think
I lost it all
I missed him
A faded memory
Right next me
His laugh
His smile
Seems like
It’s been awhile
Falling to the floor
As I hear someone at the door
A frantic face greets me
With a little more sympathy than before
But it was a memory
And I was left alone
