Memories of the Insane

Mental

As the ocean crashes

Into the sea

Does anyone hear me

As I scream

The haunting of you in my dreams

The feeling of you when you laid next to me

My demons are screaming

Why didn't you stay

They ponder in silence

Stay, stay far away

Run like you do

Say things karma will find you soon

Not forgiving

The lies that you spew

The venom of hate that spills from your lips

Those lips of yours that I used to kiss

The hole in my heart

That you tore away

Piece by piece

Slowly driving me insane

So take that plunge as you did and stick the knife deep

Deeper then you did when you walked away from me

As the fire burns and with a bitter taste

I say good bye

Forever

What a damn waste of space

For love walked in my life

Just to walk out the door

Pardon me if you couldn't handle

The craziness in my world

For you were forwarned

With childish eyes you see

I am glad you went away

And let me be free
