Meeting You

'You don't know me, and you never will.'

Here it is

The once in a lifetime experience.

I’m meeting you for the first time

The one who has made my life complete

The reason behind my smile every day.

Your eyes meet mine

You give me a small, reassuring smile.

You say hello to me

In hopes to calm my nerves

But deep down inside

You’re scaring the living crap out of me.

You pull me into your embrace

The sweet, warm, tender embrace.

You ask for my name

I give it to you

Knowing you’ll forget it the next day.

You tell me I’m beautiful.

I know you say it to us all

But it still makes me feel warm inside,

It still makes my heart flutter.

I get my picture and walk away.

I turn to look back at the one who saved me,

The one who means everything to me.

I love you,

But you will never love me back the same way.

I’m just a fangirl

Living in a sea of other fangirls.

You don’t know me,

And you never will.

You may know my name,

But you’ve probably forgotten it by now.

As I sit home alone,

I wonder how you’ve been.

And I wonder if you still remember me,

The fangirl who told you I loved you with all my heart.
