A new family is on the block

the daniels are pretty friendly.

thank you for coming today.

why don’t you take a seat

place your coat on the rack in

the corner there

feel free to slip your shoes off,

we ain’t in the South Ward no more

ahem, Dirty South they call it

bullets not cracking,

dealers not feeding the block

no worries about sprinting from homicide

we don’t judge around here

i would like for you to meet the fam today.

right here is Old No. 7, he’s the eldest of us all

mellowed through ten feet of sugar

maple charcoal, according to the official website

it takes a minute for him to reach his potential,

however he has a taste that no alcoholic could resist

you can learn a thing or two from

him if you hung out with

each other long enough

then, we have Tennessee Rye

it’s in the name bro, 70 percent of it makes him up

the other 100 percent will leave you bent,

stumbling out of here

he’s such a charmer,

beware of his curse though

Gentleman Jack, that’s my boy

he’s double mellowed,

so that’s double the

smoothness once you

pour him into a glass

Jack knows how to smooth his way

through any situation or occasion

he might be too slick for

his own good, i’m afraid

did you meet Tennessee Honey,

they don’t call her that for jokes

little bit of honey but

a whole lotta’ whiskey in her

she’s like the rest of us,

stimulating and discrete

her spirits can reach for miles out here

Tennessee Fire is too

hot to hold, literally

red hot cinnamon liquor

and Old No. 7 is a force

you shouldn’t tamper with

i’ve tried and didn’t succeed, you

start off well and she hits you as

you’re relaxing, don’t step into your

comfort zone just yet

now that i’ve introduced

you to everyone…

how about we sit down

and have old-

fashioned dinner?

like we always do
