Medicinal Media

A Poem

Dullness in your heart, you try to reach for the starsBut they are just too far away to feelMedia and sexuality, took away your personalityNow no one gives, they steal

You thought it’s easy, that you don’t gotta be toughBut for the millions of lives that think you touched themAnd the tens of thousands of hearts you’ve crushed and they know it nowThey see you’re just a liar

I hope you know you mean a lot, but you can be more than cigarettes, cocaine, and alcoholismShow these girls that they can be amazing just by being humanThat they’re not supposed to be perfect or feel like Wonder WomanTo be happy with who they are

Your selfishness is a sin, your body is soaked in ginAnd your mind is full of regretYou pop another pill to forget that this is realBut it’s not even close to the end

Everyone loves you and supports youSpend their precious time to make you happyBut in the next 23, if you’re still unhappyWho is there for you?
