Me, Myself, and Her

(In)sanity

Poverty, war, hunger

Brain damage

Drinking eases

Lowers the volume

Morning comes

Sobriety's back

Drinking helps

Volume is lower now

The end is nigh

A Women walks in

She is the perfect scotch

I want to taste her lips

Light is coming

The scotch is gone

But the lips stayed

Sobriety

Volume is lower

There's no scotch around

But the lips are still here

One month sober

Sobriety helps

Eases the volume
