Maybe It's Called Fall for a Reason

A Poem I Wrote When I Was With My Ex Fiancé

A heart's whisper is all I feel

But louder, louder it grows

Breezes prove that Autumn's come

In this big lovely world

All glows near too bright

With the brightest joy I know

How this time's come so soon

I hoped it would

And you helped bring it to me

Through such simple things too

I can't leave this moment

Why would I without you?

I've waited this long

Now my breeze is here

To bring comfort and much more

An endless Autumn--shining, beautiful

Some fear winter's next

Indoors are no longer safety

I only like the outside like this

Without the leaves, the colors, the breeze,

I don't see purpose in it all.

But autumn season's beautiful, it really is the best.

Although the same's for summer, and spring, and winter too

Any season's my favorite now really

Because I'll be sharing them with you
