In a world of love for materials, I crave emotional love. Spiritual love. The kind of beautiful, un-questionable love that makes your heart not only beat fast, but makes it feel at home. Safe. Materials have a price. Some are thousands and thousands of dollars, but the right kind of love is absolutely priceless. Greed is a type of love. Again, greed revolves around materials. Money makes the world go round, but shouldn't it be the love for our fellow humans and creatures among us? Shouldn't it be peace and love that keeps Earth running and not some materialistic greed?

Emotions
On guard. Never could have imagined what storm approached from beyond the bright forest trees and soft, colored skies. The storm, often used as a metaphor for a mixture of emotions, is brought on by our own actions. Actions we never thought would make a ripple. The ripples caused waves. As the storm approaches, the waves grow. Sunlight hides behind the storm, but is invisible to the human eye for the time being. We are so blinded by the clouds and the approaching storm, that we no longer remember the sun and the colored skies before-hand. The trees once so green and vibrant, are now ominous. As it is our fault the storm now swirls above us, we must decide what we must do. Most would wait out the storm to once again see the beautiful skies. Others, let the storm consume them. Taking away their voice and the ability to see the beauty in the world. Silence.

The Business of Nature
Dew drops reflected the light of the sun. The inhabitants of Whispering Woods woke up to the golden droplets of water on the leaves of the flora. The oaks particularly enjoyed the light and the maples did, too. Happiness enveloped all who lived there, even the rocks that cried out in the night delighted in the morning.
