Marble Heart
Healing of Emotional Wounds

My heart is like a largest marble slab. Heavy...
Each day I feel it swing down in my stomach. Feeling it hit every organ with each beat of my heart.
And while I lay on my back it weighs so heavily it bends my body like a comic drawing.
As I grow older my heart still swings low.
But know my heart now doesn't hit my organs.
Every beat of that magnificent muscle draws a chisel to it.
My attacks just help to shape a new beautiful sculpture.
Each strike of the chisel makes it crumble but grow in class and beauty.
The marble is a beautiful substance.
Even the smallest piece holds enormous weights.
Making breathing hard in occasion.
With every hardship a bigger slab is added and my own healing creates more beautiful art.
