Man Vs. Pen

Is pen really mightier than the sword?

Thoughts and thoughts,

Like little worms feasting my skull

If I were to write it all down,

It's the psychiatric ward, that's for sure.

And so after a hiatus of pen-less adventures

Body has got to let go of this torture

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the craziest of them all?

Humans, human of the world, craziest of them all

Waking up as the sun ray hits my face

Just to think, why do we wake up, day to day?

Just to survive another day, and struggle through time

And it gets worse when you check the media, focusing of low snack time

And thus bore a lot of ignorances

Internet our source of facts

Our so-called source of joy

Posting pictures and monitoring our likes

Less likes than yesterday? Getting ugly?

Wanting to make a voice but not a sound

Virtuous essence? Not one can be found

Weird, isn't it? All for a pigment

Certain people get violent maltreatment

Destroying nature and with nature's return blow imminent

We use the stronghold to question God's existence

Oh pen, you would be the end of me

Matters of statewide emergency

A West flipped on the sunscreen

Called dibs and choices on slavery

We are all enslaved, self-slavery

No wonder suicide is on high statistically

Pen, pen in my hand, what do you want to write?

Ink, ink, show the pattern, nothing yet, paper still all white.
