Man's Tempest

Last night I had a dream.

Last night I had a dream,

I saw the great ocean swirl in red

Sea creatures ingesting poisonous materials

All lay lifeless

Nothing living remains

The dark clouds roam the sky

The heavens is hazed in view

Violent wind gust across the earth’s plain

And the black rain falls

Raindrops ignited the ocean in flames

A fire becomes unquenchable by man

The great sea boils

I stand afloat at the centre

The dark smoke tear my eyes

My breath is shorten by the engulf furnace

Desperately, I struggle for a gasp of air

But only to be smouldered

Dead creatures falling from the sky

Ache by my conscience guilt

I cannot wash this hideous act from my hands

Accused by humanity’s crime

I dare not to plea for forgiveness

We are all to blame for this cataclysm

A tempest that could only have been created by humanity

I fear, we have sealed the fate for the human race
