Poetry About Love

You heard my heart

And took it

without asking for permission

You told me that you love me

without even saying it

my heart was crushed

into a thousand pieces

And you stole the last piece

and filled it with your love

you were the one

that was unexpectedly

not supposed to love

I don't know how

and I don't know when

but you took my heart

and held it with caution

you told people it was fragile

and said don't breathe on it

you took my hand

and guided me through the wilderness and told me know man

Should take me through a forest

Cause I didn't deserve it

I kissed your soft lips

and you pushed me off

You said for true love's first kiss

would never be pushed

I never notice that you weren't

My true love's first kiss

but the person that was

was the unexpected one
