A Short Poem

Her grasp was that of the tide, leaving your porous skin.

Dampness is still evident, but physical connection is dispersed.

As the Sun rises, and evaporates the beach's moisture,

Your Heart forgets the feeling of this everlasting torture.

Solace is a foreign term among the Sea.

Yet you can still see the despair you had been causing me.

A seething Solace,

Psychological Serenity.

That's all we've tried to be,

Be fair and forget to care.

Just step outside for a breath of fresh Air.

Inhale deeply and fast,

Exhale through nearly closed lips.

Now take a Leap.

and I'll be sure to follow.
