Angelic eyes in rainy streetlights,
Gentle yet piercing,
A depth inconceivable by unsaved minds,
Withholding the dreams of all of human kind.
The slow motion blink as the tears begin to roll,
She drifts off to sleep as the day takes it toll,
Lashes standing in formation,
Withstanding the tear barrage,
Her makeup outlining the stream down her cheek,
As her eyes continue to leak.
The lace that hugs her waist,
And the taste as our lips touch, as we clutch,
Makes me wish love was infinite,
Like the deep red crevices of your lips,
And the sweet, tender emotion of a touch from your finger tips.
