Love Me Another Day
First of Many, I Hope

"Love me another day"
That was the restrained
demand of the heart.
I wanted to hear it
from your mouth,
hear it from you.
I almost said myself
"Love me another day"
while dreaming of you.
That night I died
from the venom
of my stale dream.
I came back to live
after an absent year
to love another day
"Love me another day"
is my current doubt,
my eternal ruin.
I wanted to wait
for you, forever loved,
in the other hemisphere.
Don't come today.
Love me another day.
Don't look how I am.
I loved one.
I love, I think, two.
Maybe I will love none.
I thought I couldn't,
but now I solely ask
to love another day.
