Don't pity the girl with a broken soul.
She does not need pity.
She only needs love.
The real kind.
The love that would swim oceans for her.
Go through hell for her.
Fight her demons with her.
Try to understand her battles.
Understand the ear that never leaves her.
If you are going to enter the life of this broken girl.
Love her, unconditionally.
Don't get mad when she falls.
Understand when she is quiet, she needs your arms around her.
Know that when she pushes you away, she is scared and needs you to hold on tighter.
Don't try to put her shattered soul back together.
That's not your job, she knows this.
Help her realize that she can do it on her own.
Show her that she is strong.
Help her win her war.
For once she wins and all the pieces are back where they belong, then, and only then, will she be complete.
Then you will witness a love so deep that you will see that it was worth all the struggles you went through to get her there.
You will never experience such beauty again.
But remember, once a soul is shattered, it can easily break again.
So don't stop there.
Keep living her unconditionally.
You will be loved beyond belief in return.
So don't pity the girl with the broken soul.
Help her fight and become the strong woman she is meant to be.
Only then will you know what true love is.
You will be rewarded in great ways.

It is hardly debatable that the world has always been run by a bunch of aging dinosaurs, mostly male, who refuse to allow the younger generation to bring about changes. Gossamer
"Murray! Wake up!" He loved that period between waking and dreaming. To him, it was like entering another dimension; more of a dreamscape than dreaming itself. There was an otherness to it that he wanted to grasp and yet deeply respected the fact that it could never be his totally. This is what gossamer was; flighty and light, a wisp of smokiness, an idea suggested but not fully revealed, a slit in cloth, a copse in the wood.
