"The One"
If only you truly knew about how I felt.. I wake up check my messages and smile when I see your name light up on my phone.. butterflies in my stomach as I figure out what to respond constantly reminding myself to just be me because you're not just one of these regular girls that I can spit game too.. I actually care for you and when I say the things I do to you I mean it. But do you care.. do you even see me I promise you I'm right in front of you.. but are you blinded by all the girls you think I talk to or by the fact that I didn't take my chance when I had it.. I'm just Morpheus looking for "The One" and I swear I think I found her but it's heart breaking when you believe you're not... this isn't just some school yard crush or as OutKast put it some puppy love baby it's full grown but it takes two to do this dance and I'm slowly starting to look like the boy who went to prom by himself.

Gossamer
"Murray! Wake up!" He loved that period between waking and dreaming. To him, it was like entering another dimension; more of a dreamscape than dreaming itself. There was an otherness to it that he wanted to grasp and yet deeply respected the fact that it could never be his totally. This is what gossamer was; flighty and light, a wisp of smokiness, an idea suggested but not fully revealed, a slit in cloth, a copse in the wood.

A CLOSE ENCOUNTER
Stars twinkled brightly in a moonless sky, reflecting in the calm waters of Lake George in the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York. It was a warm August night, as we laid back in the boat, marveling at the magnificent Milky Way. Dark skies made the stars more brilliant at this time of year, especially during a new moon, causing wonder and enchantment. We never tired of stargazing while floating on water, a truly immersive experience.
