Love:
If boys pull your hair then they love you. If boys call you names then they love you. When I was younger my momma told me to not be on the streets. In her words, “if there is a man following you walk to the other side of the street so he can’t get you” Now that I am older I can see those men will catch up to me. They will pull my hair and call me names but this time it isn’t love.

Oliver sat at a cold, grey steel-covered table. He knew he was next. The longer he sat here, the more confident he knew he wouldn’t make it. His hands were tied to the chair he was sitting on, pushed up against the steel table. A small camera in the corner of the ceiling with a tiny red flashing light was the only thing he was focused on.
