Lost Souls
She seemed like everything was perfect
She acted like everything was going alright
She pretended that things were getting better
But in reality, it was just an illusion
She often told people that she was doing fine
She kept everything buried deep inside of her
She never showed people the true side of her
For her true side was slowly fading away
She kept telling those around her she didn't need help
She kept denying the fact that she had not eaten much
She even made it seem like it didn't hurt her to go outside
But deep down, she was one of the lost souls
She never seemed to understand what was going on
She never could say exactly what was on her mind
She could never find the right words to say
She felt trapped within her own mind
She hid her true feelings for a long time
Could never seem to get the courage
She hid away all of her pain, doubts, and fears
Her soul felt lost just like the others who had been there before.

Eclipse’s Visit
Everywhere it is dark, the sun goes on a trip, Creating chaos, making folks flip. Lunatics howl and claim it's the end, In reality, it's just a cosmic trend. People gather, their eyes to the sky, Solar glasses on, ready to spy. Even the birds seem a bit perplexed, Squirrels run around, feeling vexed.
