Lost Lovers

Glide on gentle streams

For a boat ride we'll go

Nice...slow...steady flow...

Mural water and sky blurred into one flesh

Colors colliding, new sight afresh

Breathe in the still quiet, rejuvenating air

Immersed in creation's presence, no better way to fair

Cool touching water's tide tickling fingers

Can we just stay like this forever, time lingers

Silently slipping under the glassy, powerful surface

Our only focus and concern is just to love our purpose

Swim away into loves grip and never rise up

Taste the water's brushing hands, no need for cup

Now empty boat, launched us into the waters

Though, this story we're living; it is better than any authors

Don't come back up until love has had her fill

Purest delight and deepest passions, never to be a dismal drill
