You crossed my path one day,
Approached me by surprise...
At first I thought that you were lost,
But in fact it was I...
Lost in your eyes...
Lost in your mind...
For it was just as deep as mine,
As we dive in conversation...
For you said that you had an invitation,
That I asked you to come...
I asked you jog my memory,
For I was mesmerized by your presence....
Anxious for I was unsure if you were indeed a blessing...
or just another lesson...
The invitation you possessed,
You allowed me to see...
It was a prayer to my Father from yours truly...
A prayer to find the man of my dreams...
And send him my way...
Only when He feels that I'm ready...
A tear ran down my cheek...
You accepted.
He sent you here.
You are the answer.
It was fate....
You crossed my path one day,
On time as He knew you'd be...
At first I thought that you were lost,
But in fact, you were looking for me.
I'm all yours.

Oliver sat at a cold, grey steel-covered table. He knew he was next. The longer he sat here, the more confident he knew he wouldn’t make it.
