Lost

The process of being found is always very challenging.

Being stuck in a dark place, knowing not even yourself can take you out of it, looking in the mirror and having nothing to be proud of, nothing to be happy about.

There's this one girl you despise because she has it all, but if you look deeper we all have inner issues, yet your mind wont tell you that, jumbled thoughts, dark thoughts that send you into a mood that seems like it'll be everlasting.

There is a brighter place in all of this darkness.

Worst part of all of it, you have a boyfriend, and because your thoughts lie and confuse you, you lose touch. You keep fighting for him because you know the truth.

Giving into the thoughts, trying to focus on who you once were, realizing that the person that was you, had some problems that you didn't see until now.

Trying to find your way out of depression is always hard, it takes dedication, it takes you standing up, even if all you want to do is sleep. It takes sunlight, even if you want darkness. It requires energy, even if you absolutely have none. It takes smiles, even if you want to give in and cry. It takes being around people who love you, even if you want to be isolated.

Depression wants bad for you, it is simply an evil spirit that wants the exact opposite of what you need.

I know what I need, I'm just not sure if I want to get up yet.
