Your heartbeat slows.

As your rough hands grasp my waist tighter and you pull me closer.

My cheeks perk and my smiles back as you kiss my forehead.

Still listening to nothing but the sound of your rapid heartbeat and your steady breath.

Thud .. thud thud.. thud thud..

and I start drifting.

I feel so at peace in your arms.

I feel as if I'm finally at home.

The person who I never would've expected, holding me tight and leaving me full of serenity.

I look up and lose myself in the ocean of his bright blue eyes and blush as he leans in to kiss me.

Even though I'm lying down I felt as if I lost gravity and I was floating.

Floating away in your arms knowing there's not a chance you'd let me go.

You kiss me harder and slide your tongue with mine.

Our bodies connecting and intertwining as you pull me much closer.

You bite my lip and smile that big smile at me before I rest my head back down on your chest.

Your heart beat much faster now.

Thud thud thud.. thud thud thud..

I smile as my fingers gracefully slide up your chest .

Feeling the warmth of your skin against mine.

And I smile once more.

And drift into a deep sleep.

-Happy and finally at peace
