Look! In front of you.
Can you see it?
Do you see the light?
Have you seen it before?
Perhaps you have,
maybe you forgot.
It is easy to forget.
Not so easy to remember.
Nostalgia hits you in the oddest ways, comes in the most extraordinarily rare of forms,
but wait,
I see it now.
It is the future. Your future. My future. Their future.
His future. Her future.
Different but the same.
in so many ways.
But what is important
is that you can see it.
You can see it, as it lies ahead of you with its ambitious eyes, telling you to stay. Telling you to go. Life is so confusing, what am I even trying to say?
But can you see it?
With the past now gone, all that is left behind is this very moment and every second that will follow.
Take your time.
Enjoy the ride.
