Save Yourself

You can run, run, run as fast as you can, but you can’t save the girl from the demons that command. In love with blood, in love with pain, only she can save herself again. Time waits for no one, and neither does she. Her soul hangs from a noose on a cherry tree. You would think she felt her die, but she barely even noticed. Needle in her arm, the darkness has the motive. She buries her burdens on a plot next to her soul, with only heroin, her heroine, to escape this vast and empty hole. She thinks it fixes her, but only for a while. Only when she’s hazy can she force and fake a smile. Fuck solving any problems, she just ignores them and gets high. She locks herself inside her room, knowing every point could bring her doom.

More to come.
