Lonely Whispers

Keep Me up at Night

I whisper your name

Did you hear me?

I tell you I love you

Don't you believe me?

I cried out to you, but

You didn't come.

I am so alone.

Your presence is all I crave,

It's your sunny smile I miss the most.

I see happiness when I vision us dancing to our own love song.

But, where are you now?

I just want you to hold me.

I just need you to tell me

you love me.

The silence is killing me,

The unknowing is a suspense.

Why do you haunt me so?

Why won't you just go?

I'm in Prayer,

I'm calling His name.

But, why won't He answer my prayer.

Is there no despair?

Cause I'm still hanging on.

When will enough be enough?

When will I reach my limit?

You had me at hello all those years ago.

You stole my heart with that one first kiss.

I gave you my soul the day I said, "Yes!"

So where have you gone?

Why are you so cold?
